 Shields Ferber becomes President at
Ferber Company Present Paul S. Ferber (Chairman), Shields Ferber (President) and Stuart Ferber (Real Estate Associate) are now working together. Paul recalls that it was his grandfather who mentored him in business at a young age. Shields was also mentored into the business by his grandfather, Paul L Ferber. It is fitting that Paul is mentoring his grandson, Stuart, in the Ponte Vedra office with the important lessons he remembers from his father and grandfather, “Never give up.” Three generations of Ferber paving
the way for the future. 2018 Eric Steinfeldt began working alongside the Ferber Company in his role as co-owner at Bohler Engineering. The two companies worked on multiple projects and developed a relationship that would lead to the launch of Ferber North. Upon leaving Bohler, Eric became an investor at the Ferber Company where he quickly realized the synergy between him and CEO, Shields Ferber. The two developed a plan to launch Ferber North in 2018 and Eric led the charge, growing the team from 2 to 8 with projects across the northeastern states. The team is fortunate to be housed in the original country farmhouse, renovated by Paul L. Ferber. Its setting in rural Somerset County, NJ is reminiscent of 1980’s era rural corporate office expansion. Ferber North will continue to provide full-service development solutions to regional and nationally recognized retail clientele.
